Facing The Menopause

Menopause been worried and scared by some women when they wonder what will happen when they reach menopause. Menopause can be a positive experience and a chance for all women to be more focus themselves and make changes that will improve their health.
Actually there’s no way of exactly predicting when will menopause occur. Each of woman has an internal biological timer that is programmed before birth to set the hormonal events and trigger both the start and the end of menstruation.

There are things you could do to understand and preparing menopause, especially the physical and emotional changes that may be ahead of you. A women survey said that the worst thing about menopause is they do not know what to expect, as they are too embarrassed to ask anyone about this menopause, even with other women friends. But thanks in large part to the rise of the women’s movement and menopause is talked about more openly today.

The survey also said that most women think the average woman experiences menopause at age 45, when the actual average age is between 50 and 51. Although most women experience similar symptoms of menopause, but not all the symptoms experienced by every women.

Hot flashes have become the hallmark symptom of menopause. Hot flashes are a feeling of sudden flush or warmth, often followed by sweating. It can cause a serious sleepless nights and discomfort for some women.

Weight gain and hair loss or thinning

Mood changes such as depression, irritability and mood swings

Vaginal problems like vaginal dryness and irritation that can cause pain during sex and pelvic exams, frequent vaginal infections with urinary problems, including burning or pain when urinating, leaking when sneezing, coughing, or laughing problems with concentration or memory; less interest in sex and changes in sexual response.
